Do I have to have a minimum typing speed to become a transcriber? // June 15 2009
The answer to this question really depends on the client. Some clients couldn't care less how fast you type. They are more interested in how accurately you type.
If you freelance or sub-contract for a transcribing company, some require a minimum typing speed but that varies depending on what company you are working for.
