• What is the email settings in the member panel? // June 15 2009

  Accept email from site administrators: Checking this box indicates you want to receive email from the site administrator.
  
  Accept email from other members of this site: Pro Transcriber Members can send email to members via the control panel to anyone who has this box checked.
  
  Enable email notifications by default when you post messages: Checking this option will allow the system to notify you when someone posts a reply to any thread you are subscribed to in the forums.
  
  Notify me via email when someone sends me a private message: Enabling this option will send you an email when you have a private message waiting in your member panel.
  
  Enable Smart Notification: Smart notifications mean you will receive only one notification of new activity in a post until your next visit to the forum thread. By unchecking this box, you get an email of every single response.
